PACE North sees process improvements and fewer scraps since engaging Intus Care TAC Services

Intus Caredeveloper of an innovative predictive analytics platform designed for geriatric health, today announced that it now offers Technical Assistance and Advisory Services (TAC). These services are intended to help PACE programs achieve growth, streamline operations, improve clinical outcomes, reduce costs of using unnecessary services, and other functional strategies. Intus Care’s PACE team of experts will take a hands-on approach alongside PACE program management teams and staff to execute and complete project work plans. Intus Care supplements improvement projects with organizational data to help identify valid issues and opportunities within a PACE program.

PACE North in Traverse City, Michigan, was one of the first programs to use Intus Care’s TAC services. Intus Care’s Chief Strategy Officer, Laura Ferrara, worked closely with the PACE North leadership team in preparation for their upcoming CMS audit to facilitate the creation of new committees, manage cross-disciplinary teams and leverage data to identify the root causes of high-use events and proactively mitigate them. PACE North helped five (5) participants who were experiencing recurrent falls to reduce falls by 81% between March and April 2022 based on updated processes. (See the case study).
