Thursday (April 21), block pass“a leading digital identity verification provider” has announced that it is partnering with EMURGO“a founding entity of the Cardano blockchain and its official trading arm”.
Blockpass is “a single, reusable digital identity solution for all organizations participating in the regulated and increasingly remote business environment where trust must be verified digitally.” Via “a transparent dashboard with pay-as-you-go and no installation costs”, it “offers an alternative process to cumbersome, repetitive and costly authentication of identity documents, to the control of the knowledge of your customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).” Using Blockpass, “end users easily create a verified portable identity that they can control and reuse to instantly onboard any service.”
EMURGO, which was founded in 2017, is “a global blockchain technology company providing solutions for developers, startups, enterprises and governments”; and it “develops enterprise-grade apps, builds developer tools, invests in startups, and provides blockchain education.” The company has “offices and manages projects in Singapore, Japan, the United States, India and Indonesia.”
In a Press release published on April 21, Blockpass said that through this collaboration, it “will add Cardano crypto addresses to the Blockpass app and offer On-Chain KYC(TM) services for projects in the Cardano ecosystem, thereby optimizing their requirements KYC”. Additionally, the two companies will “hold a ‘Fireside Chat’ and other collaborative marketing initiatives to increase awareness of this partnership and foster the overall growth of the Cardano community.”
